Meet the Founders
Will Ross - Founding Golfer
I've always been active enjoying a range of sports and outdoor activities. In 2018, an accident left me paralysed from the chest down and he became a permanent wheelchair user. I enjoyed playing golf when I was younger and was a member of a golf club. I never thought it would be possible to swing a club once I became disabled.
In late 2023, I had the opportunity to experience that golf is a fantastic, inclusive sport with a range of physical, mental and social benefits that I'm thoroughly enjoying.
I'm looking forward to helping other individuals in similar circumstances as me to enjoy Golf as much as I do!
Darren "Deej" Stratman - Founding Coach
After great memories as a Junior Golfer, where I played County Golf and qualified to represent England Schoolboys, I decided to follow my real passion for helping other Golfers with their game and embarked upon my PGA Professional Qualification in 2002.
Although I coach all standards of Golfer, the most enjoyment for me comes from introducing Golf to new people. As well as coaching over 100 Junior Golfers each week, I'm fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with some very inspirational people.
Some are returning to Golf following an injury or diagnosis. Many are taking it up for the first time and doing something they never thought was possible.
Being part of their journey is something I'm rather grateful for.
My goal is to show how truly accessible Golf has become.
